Responsibilities
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting interviews, and managing onboarding processes to attract top talent.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization.
- Manage employee evaluation processes, including performance management systems and feedback sessions to promote continuous improvement.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers’ compensation claims, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement HR policies aligned with employment law and industry best practices; manage regulatory compliance across all HR functions.
- Support change management initiatives by facilitating organizational design projects and workforce restructuring efforts.
- Utilize HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors for data collection, reporting, and analytics to inform strategic planning.
- Handle confidential employee information with integrity while maintaining accurate records related to personnel administration and payroll processing.
- Promote employee relations by resolving conflicts effectively and fostering a positive work environment through communication skills and proactive engagement strategies.
- Coordinate training & development programs aimed at skill enhancement, leadership growth, and succession planning initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management or HR department experience with a comprehensive understanding of employment & labor law, FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and HR legal compliance standards.
- Strong knowledge of human capital management systems such as Oracle HCM, UltiPro, ADP, or Paychex; proficiency in Excel data analysis is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in recruiting strategies using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like iCIMS or Lever; experience with social media management for talent sourcing is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while building rapport across all levels of the organization.
- Project management skills to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with benefits administration, personnel administration, and payroll processing workflows.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment; strategic planning capabilities are essential for long-term HR initiatives.
- Educational background in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; certifications such as SHRM or HRCI are advantageous.
