Role Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic thought leader in the organization’s fields of work while developing and implementing a long-range strategic plan to achieve the mission.
Establish credibility and cultivate relationships with the Board of Directors, staff, elected officials and government entities, community leaders, and donors.
Build an inclusive workplace in support of SafePath’s vision, mission, and core values, ensuring a culture that attracts, retains, and motivates a diverse, qualified staff.
Ensure the organization adheres to all governance and compliance responsibilities, including advanced knowledge and application of NCA (National Children's Alliance) and CJCC (Criminal Justice Coordinating Council) accreditation standards.
Lead and facilitate a multidisciplinary team (MDT), navigating competing interests to ensure all partners (including law enforcement, the district attorney’s office, therapists, healthcare professionals, and DFACS) remain engaged and collaborative.
Prepare an annual budget in partnership with the Board of Directors, manage the organization’s finances within the parameters of that budget, and achieve a clean financial audit every year.
Create and execute a multi-year donor engagement strategy, including a capacity-building campaign to increase unrestricted funds.
Develop tactical plans with metrics consistent with the strategic focus and approved fundraising campaigns.
Recruit, select, and hire qualified individuals for the team. Provide development opportunities for continuous growth and engagement. Model effective performance management by holding people accountable and providing substantive feedback and development.
Formulate, plan, organize, recommend, and administer policies and programs.
Experience, Education, and Knowledge Desired
7-10 years of non-profit or related leadership experience.
A deep understanding of nonprofit organizations, including program management, finance, donor development, managing reimbursable grants, and volunteer engagement.
Bachelor’s degree required; a Master's in a related field is preferred.
Proven year-over-year fundraising results.
Advanced knowledge of industry-related policies, regulations, and standards, inclusive of but not limited to National Children's Alliance (NCA), Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC), and the Georgia Victim Assistance Academy (GVAA).
Experience leading and facilitating multidisciplinary teams (MDTs).
Familiarity with child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and trauma-informed care is desired.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000 annually.
