About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Total Rewards Strategy
- Develop and maintain the organization's total rewards philosophy, ensuring alignment with business goals and talent strategy.
- Assess market competitiveness and internal equity across all employee groups (hourly, salaried, exempt, and non-exempt).
- Recommend program changes based on workforce needs, cost considerations, and market trends.
- Payroll
- Ensure accurate, timely pay and tax compliance.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Payroll Processing, run payroll systems, auditing records, and managing deductions.
- System Administration
- Manage and optimize HRIS and payroll software systems.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and mentor payroll staff.
- Auditing
- Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 4 years of progressive experience in payroll and compensation and/or total rewards. Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environments strongly preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of payroll, compensation structures, incentives, and benefits.
- Experience with compensation surveys and market pricing tools.
- Advanced analytical skills; strong Excel capability required.
- Working knowledge of payroll processes and close collaboration with Payroll.
