Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a compassionate, client-centered, and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join their team. The ideal candidate will hold a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field, and will provide therapeutic services to individuals, families, and/or groups experiencing emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions that promote healing, growth, and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults
· Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and risk assessments
· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
· Utilize evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, solution focused, client centered, or play therapy
· Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with agency, ethical, and legal standards
· Utilize DSM V to diagnose and develop treatment plans
· Collaborate with case managers, medical providers, schools, and/or other professionals involved in client care
· Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
· Respond to crises as needed, following appropriate safety and escalation protocols
· Uphold the highest ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and respect for diverse backgrounds
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
· Current registration or licensure (e.g., AMFT, ASW, APCC, LPC, LPCC, LMFT, LCSW) or eligibility for licensure in Georgia & Florida
· Experience providing mental health services in clinical, school, or community settings preferred
· Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and client-centered approaches
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) Therapy Notes, ECase, and clinical documentation
· Bilingual skills a plus (but not required)

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
