Sr. Construction Project Manager – Bay Area (Confidential Search)
I'm working with one of the Bay Area's most exciting construction companies — a fast growing multi-service contractor known for high-end residential and commercial Landscape, Pool, and Construction projects. They're expanding their commercial construction division and are looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager to help lead that growth.
This person will be the face of the company on-site and with clients — overseeing day-to-day construction activities, managing teams and subcontractors, and making sure projects come in on time, on budget, and to spec.
What you'll do:
- Be the face of the company — clients should feel like they matter, not like a line item
- Visit job sites regularly to oversee daily construction activities, quality, and timelines
- Coordinate and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Contribute to project planning and scheduling alongside the Field Supervisor
- Monitor work progress and conduct inspections for code/spec compliance
- Manage materials, equipment, and manpower to keep projects efficient and on budget
- Serve as the main liaison between clients, stakeholders, and management
- Proactively spot and resolve issues before they become problems
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience required
- Experience with pool construction, ADU projects, and landscape construction & HOA
- 5–7 years of construction site management experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and blueprints
- Must have experience with city permitting requirements
- Strong client-facing and interpersonal communication skills
