Dimensional Design:
Dimensional Design specializes in the production of exhibits, custom displays, and signage, working with materials such as plastics, metal, and wood. Our work combines craftsmanship and precision, applying graphics and vinyl to create high-quality finished products for clients. We operate both in-house and on-site, delivering tailored visual solutions.
Position Summary:
The Production & Warehouse Assistant supports daily operations in our shop and warehouse. This hands-on role includes applying graphics and vinyl, product assembly, packaging, general shop upkeep, and assisting with installations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working with their hands.
Essential Job Duties:
• Apply graphics and cut vinyl to plastics, metal, and wood surfaces
• Cut, weed, and install vinyl lettering with precision
• Assist in production and finishing of displays, including laminating and painting
• Perform small product assembly tasks
• Package finished displays for UPS and freight shipments (palletizing when required)
• Clean and prepare products for delivery or installation
• Support on-site installations as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and office areas
• Assist with general shop tasks and act as a team helper
Skills/Abilities:
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and working with hands
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn new skills
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with vinyl cutting and application
• Familiarity with laminating or painting techniques
• Experience with packaging and shipping (UPS, freight, pallets)
• Basic knowledge of acrylic, wood, and metal materials
Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a sign shop, print shop, or production environment is a plus
Physical Requirements:
• Able to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
• Walking, bending, kneeling, and standing may be required
• Normal vision abilities including close focus
Work Environment:
• Combination of warehouse, production shop, and occasional on-site work
• Fast-paced, hands-on environment focused on craftsmanship and teamwork
