What are the responsibilities and job description for the Peak Warehouse Technician and Driver position at HR & Onboarding?
At Peak Technologies, we bring virtual and live events to life. From global conferences to unforgettable brand activations, our team helps create moments that leave a lasting impression. We’re looking for a Warehouse Technician & Driver to join our Audio/Visual team — someone who takes pride in keeping things organized, moving, and ready for showtime.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll balance warehouse operations with safe and efficient driving. If you have a sharp eye for detail, enjoy working with AV equipment, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit.
What You’ll Do
In the Warehouse
Keep our warehouse tour-ready by ensuring assets are stored, maintained, and organized.
Operate a forklift daily to pull and prepare client assets.
Assist with return inspections, AV orders, receiving, staging, and logistics.
Restock and track client and rental equipment — making sure every piece is ready to ship.
Monitor assets for damage or needed repairs and report issues promptly.
Follow production schedules, working independently while staying aligned with the Operations team.
Identify and work with different types of production cables (XLR, speakON, SDI, HDMI, DisplayPort, Fiber, DMX, Socapex, Edison, PowerCon, TRUE1, CAT, etc.).
Support basic testing and QC of production gear such as monitors, projectors, LED tiles/walls, computers, converters, distribution amps, switchers, microphones, speakers, and mixers.
On the Road
Transport AV equipment safely and on time.
Load and unload cargo with care, following best practices.
Drive with professionalism — clean record, safe habits, and respect for all regulations.
Maintain the vehicle inside and out, handling basic upkeep (fuel, oil, safety checks).
Complete required documentation such as logs, mileage, and cargo reports.
Adapt quickly to traffic or rerouting to keep deliveries on schedule.
What We’re Looking For
Associate’s degree or equivalent training/experience (6–12 months in warehouse, production, or AV preferred).
Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Comfortable with forklifts, warehouse operations, and hands-on work.
Familiarity with AV cables and gear; able to identify basic production cables and equipment.
Experience with equipment testing, troubleshooting, or QC is a plus.
Flexible, solution-oriented, and team-focused.
Strong attention to detail — you know that every piece of equipment matters.
