JOB DESCRIPTION
The Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation Team Member at Muha Meds is responsible for supporting cultivation activities in an outdoor cannabis production environment. This role involves assisting in planting, watering, pruning, harvesting, and maintaining plants to ensure optimal growth and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for cannabis cultivation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivation Activities:

- Assist in planting, transplanting, and maintaining cannabis plants in outdoor cultivation areas, following established procedures and protocols.
- Water, fertilize, and prune plants as needed to promote healthy growth and maximize yield.
- Harvesting and Processing:

- Participate in harvesting activities, including trimming, manicuring, and processing harvested cannabis plants, buds, and flowers.
- Follow proper drying and curing techniques to preserve the quality and potency of harvested cannabis.
- Pest and Disease Management:

- Monitor plants for signs of pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies, and report any issues to the Cultivation Supervisor.
- Assist in implementing pest management strategies, including the application of organic pesticides and natural predators.
- General Maintenance:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in cultivation areas, including greenhouse structures, irrigation systems, and equipment.
- Assist in routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, sanitizing, and repairing equipment and tools.
- Compliance and Safety:

- Adhere to all safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements related to cannabis cultivation.
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations governing outdoor cannabis cultivation activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong knowledge of outdoor cultivation techniques, including soil preparation, irrigation, and pest management.
- Familiarity with state and local regulations governing outdoor cannabis cultivation and agricultural practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years old
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Valid Drivers License
- Can lift to 50lbs, bend, stand, and stop for extended periods of time.
