Overview: We are seeking a skilled Nurse Educator Acute Care to support the professional development and clinical competency of bedside nurses. The Clinical Educator plays a critical role as an educator, change agent, facilitator, consultant, and researcher, fostering empowerment through knowledge and skills to achieve excellence in evidence-based nursing practice.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff across acute care settings.Support bedside nurses in enhancing professional competence and clinical skills.Serve as a resource for evidence-based practice, clinical guidelines, and professional development.Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and simulation exercises (high- and low-fidelity) as needed.Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify learning needs and design educational interventions.Act as a change agent to improve patient care outcomes and nursing performance.Required Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Nursing.Masters Degree in Nursing or actively enrolled in a program withprojected completion within 18 months of hire.Valid Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.National Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification upon hire.Minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience in the area of specialty.Knowledge and experience in adult education and course development.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in relevant nursing specialty.Previous formal educator experience.Leadership experience in a nursing or healthcare setting.Experience with clinical simulation (high- and low-fidelity).Compensation & Benefits:Full-time position with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development support.Relocation assistance may be available for ideal candidates.
