What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Technician (1st Shift) position at HR HealthCare?
The Warehouse Technician plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of HR HealthCare's warehouse. This position is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse functions, including order picking, loading and unloading trucks, inventory handling, housekeeping, and other assigned duties. Responsibilities are assigned based on operational needs to ensure the efficient and timely movement of materials throughout the warehouse.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick, label, and prepare customer sales orders for shipment.
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse by operating floor scrubbers, sweepers, and HEPA vacuums.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and material location activities.
- Pick production work orders and stage materials in work-in-process (WIP) areas.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety procedures, and company policies.
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Support general warehouse operations and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- General knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology.
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds on a repetitive basis.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Forklift experience or certification preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification (if not currently certified).
Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am until 5:30 pm overtime as needed
Salary : $19 - $21
