Summary 

We are hiring a Proposal/Pursuit Specialist II to support our quickly growing company! As a trusted advisor, you will be working side-by-side with a team of Project Managers, Client Service Managers (CSMs), and technical staff leading proposal development and developing content for our various engineering disciplines within HR Green. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports the development of materials for proposals, statements of qualification, case studies, interviews, and presentations recognizing the unified branding of the company. Writing proposal text and cover letters. Coordinates customization of staff resumes, project experience lists, project case studies, graphics, and cover letters. 
  • Assists with preparing interview/presentation materials, which may include meeting exhibits, PowerPoint presentations, and/or multi-media productions.
  • Manages the project pursuit process and schedule and coordinates the timely receipt of assigned task materials from the project pursuit team, including subconsultants.
  • Works with leadership and technical staff to position for competitive pursuits. 
  • Maintains and provides support for marketing/proposal systems and processes, including proposal information in Deltek Vantagepoit CRM and various content libraries.  
  • May lead or assist as a marketer for specific growth market(s).
  • Identifies strategic marketing campaigns and works with leadership and corporate marketing to prioritize these efforts.
  • Conducts market research to aide in the development of marketing/proposal content to support win strategies.
  • Identifies opportunities for Marketing Communications, including press releases, website content, intranet features, and even white papers.  Coordinates with technical staff and Branding/Communications department to facilitate development.
  • Attends tradeshows and/or other events as needed to represent the company.

Education / Experience 

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing/Journalism/Communications (or similar discipline).
  • Must have at least five years of related professional experience that includes proposal development, preferably in engineering or related professional service. Experience working with municipal clients as well as the Department of Transportation(s) is a plus.
  • Must have demonstrated strong written and oral communications skills with a predisposition to proactive communications.
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess strong editing skills with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to prioritize and work effectively on a variety of projects concurrently in a demanding environment under tight deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to work within a team, build relationships, and work effectively at all levels of an organization, including business development and technical staff.
  • Must possess strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience using Deltek Vantagepoint a plus; database or content management experience helpful.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.

Compensation Range 

$71,800.00 - $112,500.00

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and California SB 1162. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location. The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate, after a qualifying period, in our performance and discretionary incentive bonus program(s).
