Summary 

We are hiring a Proposal/Pursuit Specialist I to support our quickly growing company! As a trusted advisor, you will work side-by-side with a team of Pursuit Specialist, Project Managers, Client Service Managers (CSMs), and technical staff to support proposal development and develop content for our various engineering disciplines within HR Green. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports the development of materials for proposals, statements of qualification, case studies, interviews, and presentations recognizing the unified branding of the company. Writing proposal text and cover letters. Coordinates customization of staff resumes, project experience lists, project case studies, graphics, and cover letters. 
• Assists with preparing interview/presentation materials, which may include meeting exhibits, PowerPoint presentations, and/or multi-media productions.
• Working directly with the assigned project pursuit team, including the Pursuit Specialist, Project Managers, Client Service Managers (CSMs), and technical staff, to gather information for the above and develop content tailored to individual Request for Proposals (RFP) requirements. Managing the project pursuit process and schedule and coordinating the timely receipt of assigned task materials from the project pursuit team, including subconsultants.

• Maintains and provides support for marketing/proposal systems and processes, including proposal information in Deltek Vantagepoit CRM and various content libraries.  
• Coordinating production, distribution, and shipping of the above materials and other client deliverables within required schedules. 
• Maintaining collateral/materials library in the firm's content management systems and Vision database. 
• Coordinate with corporate marketing to support campaigns, specialized graphics, and other Marketing requests. 
• Attend tradeshows and/or other events as needed to help set up the HR Green booth and possibly represent the company.

Education / Experience 

• BA/BS degree in Marketing/Journalism/Communications (or similar discipline), or equivalent work experience in a similar role. 
• Must have at least three to five years of related professional experience that includes proposal development, preferably in engineering or related professional service. Experience working with municipal clients as well as the Department of Transportation(s) is a plus.
• Must have demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills with a predisposition to proactive communications.
• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong editing skills with a focus on quality assurance.
• Must have demonstrated the ability to prioritize and work effectively on a variety of projects concurrently in a demanding environment under tight deadlines.
• Must have the ability to work within a team, build relationships, and work effectively at all levels of an organization, including business development and technical staff.
• Must possess strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products.
• Experience using Deltek Vantagepoint a plus; database or content management experience helpful.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
