Cash Applications Administrator
Location: Miami, FL (Onsite)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $25–28/hr
Job Overview
Seeking a detail-oriented Cash Applications Administrator to support daily payment processing and account reconciliation activities. This role is responsible for accurately posting and applying incoming payments, resolving payment discrepancies, and partnering with internal teams to ensure customer accounts remain current and accurate.
Key Responsibilities
- Post incoming payments including wires, ACH, checks, and credit card transactions
- Apply customer payments accurately and timely within the accounting system
- Process account offsets and credits
- Investigate and resolve outstanding payment issues
- Generate aging and reconciliation reports
- Partner with Credit and Accounting teams to reconcile customer accounts
- Prepare EFT draft reports and send weekly customer notices
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Standard onsite schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in cash applications, accounting, treasury, or related field
- Experience with SAGE highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
