Role Description
This is a contract-based hybrid role located in Kalamazoo, MI, with opportunities for remote work as needed. The Recruitment Consultant will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment processes, including developing talent acquisition strategies, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating hiring decisions. The role requires consulting with clients to understand their hiring needs, building relationships with potential talent, and ensuring a seamless recruitment experience. Additional responsibilities may include analyzing recruitment metrics, identifying process improvements, and supporting organizations with strategic advice to enhance their talent acquisition practices.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in Recruitment and Recruiting, with the ability to source, attract, and identify top talent.
- Proficiency in Interviewing and Consulting, with expertise in assessing candidates' fit for specific roles and providing strategic advice to clients.
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to foster positive relationships with clients, candidates, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with HR technology platforms and tools, as well as knowledge of compliance and best practices in recruitment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment processes effectively and meet deadlines in a dynamic workplace.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related experience is preferred.
Location & Engagement Requirement (Michigan Only)
This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Services are performed primarily on a remote or hybrid basis; however, Michigan residency is required due to periodic, in-person collaboration, leadership planning sessions, and client-related business needs within the state. Contractors must have the ability to attend monthly in-person meetings in Michigan as part of the scope of services.
