- Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, DOE
- Schedule: Full-time, 4 - 5 days per week, up to 40 hours/week

What You’ll Do: As a Dental Assistant (EFDA), you will work chairside with the dentist to promote good dental and general health through patient education and interaction. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, soothing, seating, and draping them
- Perform visual exams and oral health instruction (OHI) as instructed and approved by the dentist
- Perform prophies
- Polish restorations using a slow-speed handpiece
- Remove excess cement with hand instruments
- Take X-rays and intraoral photos
- Apply sealants
- Arrest dental decay by applying fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents
- Mix filling compounds
- Take impressions of teeth
- Answer questions and provide parents or guardians with information about oral health, treatment plans, and hygiene
- Communicate and collaborate with dental staff to provide a high level of patient care
Who You Are: You’re an experienced Dental Assistant who enjoys working chairside and engaging directly with patients and families. You bring confidence from your time in the field, take pride in your skills, and know how to balance efficiency with compassion, especially when working with children. Other Qualifications include:
- Current Oregon Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification
- Strong verbal communication skills to work effectively with patients, parents, doctors, and staff
- Solid organization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- An enthusiastic, dependable approach to your work and a commitment to helping kids build healthy dental habits in a positive, supportive setting
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
