We are seeking an experienced, dynamic client services professional in the Employee Benefits space, who will bring a fierce commitment to building relationships, exceeding client expectations, and pushing our Employee Benefits Practice to new heights in the marketplace. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the servicing and marketing needs of BIG Solutions clients. Services designated book of business as relating to marketing, claims, and administration.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a book of business with group sizes averaging 10-100 lives.
- Responsible for routine service which includes : New hire/Qualifying life events, terminations, billing requests, payroll reports, claims analysis and assistance, maintain enrollment platforms, and the ability to educate members on their benefits.
- Collaborate with brokers during client meetings and presentations, occasionally presenting to small groups.
- Work collaboratively with Analyst and AE on new and renewal business as part of a balanced workload.
- Utilize software tools such as BenefitPoint and Employee Navigator to manage accounts effectively.
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Practice proactive follow-up on all outstanding issues by communicating status of each to the AE/Unit Manager.
- Review of all agreements and/or documents (employee booklets, carrier contracts, etc.).
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within the employee benefits industry. Self-funded experience is preferred.
- Licenses/Designations: L&H (Life and Health) license required or within the first 3 months of employment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft products, Canva, BenefitPoint, Gathr and Employee Navigator software. Preferred but not required.
- Soft Skills: Friendly, responsible, team-oriented, and self-motivated, ability to think outside the box, attention to detail.
- Travel: Local travel may be required for client presentations.

Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
