A fast-growing law firm is seeking a Director of People & Operations to help lead and scale internal operations, team development, and organizational infrastructure.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on building systems, improving accountability, developing people, and creating operational excellence in a growing organization.
You will work closely with ownership and leadership to strengthen processes, support team growth, improve operational efficiency, and help scale the business intentionally and sustainably.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, emotionally intelligent, proactive, and comfortable balancing empathy with high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and improve accountability systems, workflows, and KPIs
- Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts
- Develop training programs and support employee growth
- Strengthen communication, culture, and team performance
- Oversee HR processes, compliance, and operational best practices
- Support leadership with scaling initiatives and organizational structure
Qualifications
- 5 years of leadership experience in operations, HR, people operations, or team management
- Strong experience building systems and improving processes
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
- Comfortable leading performance and accountability conversations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment
Preferred Experience
- Professional services or law firm experience
- Experience scaling a small-to-mid-sized business
- Familiarity with CRMs/workflow platforms
- Experience building KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems
