Roastery Assistant
Hey everyone! We’re hiring for a Roastery Assistant at HB-HQ!
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for meeting the needs of our stores and wholesale customers while upholding the company's core values. Day-to-day responsibilities include order fulfillment, packaging coffee, prepping deliveries, cold brew production and coffee roasting.
Tasks include:
- Picking and staging orders for stores and wholesale customers efficiently and accurately
- Packaging coffee into 12oz retail bags, ½ lb bags and 5 lb bags
- Brewing and packaging cold brew coffee
- Production roasting
- Knowing how to fully operate all machinery in the warehouse: forklift, weigh and fill, scales, bulk grinder, heat sealers, etc.
- Ensuring that the warehouse is cleaned and organized at the end of every shift
- Understanding organic processor and handler standards and compliance
- Assisting with deliveries as needed
- Assisting with ecommerce orders as needed
Requirements:
- Organized and detail oriented with a commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Drivers license and a clean driving record
- A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Weekday availability
