Founded in 1994 in Louisville's Highlands neighborhood, Heine Brothers' Coffee has grown into a regional icon — a 100% organic, fairly traded coffee roaster with 18 locations across Louisville and Southern Indiana. The Role
We're seeking a talented freelance graphic designer to help bring the Heine Brothers' visual identity to life across seasonal campaigns, in-store materials, merchandise, digital content, and community events. You'll work closely with our marketing team on a project-by-project basis, contributing your creative eye to a brand that's as much about people as it is about coffee.
Key projects will include:
- Seasonal menus, promotional posters, and in-store signage
- Social media graphics, email headers, and digital campaign assets
- Merchandise concepts (cups, totes, apparel, packaging)
- Event materials for community initiatives and fundraisers
- Brand collateral in support of wholesale and B2B efforts
What we're looking for
Required
- 3 years of professional graphic design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating brand design, print, and digital work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Ability to work within an established brand identity while bringing fresh ideas
- Excellent communication and reliable project turnaround
- Experience preparing print-ready files and digital assets
Preferred
- Experience with food, beverage, or hospitality brands
- Familiarity with Canva for team collaboration
- Passion for sustainability, local business, and community values
- Louisville-area knowledge and familiarity with the Heine Brothers' brand
- Experience with social media content creation
