Overall Job Description – Recurring Cleaning Services

This is a recurring cleaning service performed once every two weeks (bi-weekly) to maintain a clean, sanitary, and professional environment. The standard cleaning service includes thorough cleaning and sanitizing of the bathrooms, cleaning and disinfecting the breakroom with special attention to the microwave, and sweeping and mopping all designated floor areas.

In addition to the regular bi-weekly service, a comprehensive window cleaning is performed once per month. This service is billed separately due to the additional time, labor, and attention to detail required.

Overall, this cleaning arrangement provides consistent facility maintenance through scheduled bi-weekly cleaning, with a monthly window cleaning service that enhances the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of interior spaces, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other reflective surfaces to ensure clarity and shine.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for storage, mixing, and application.
• Remove all trash from designated receptacles and dispose of it in the appropriate waste collection area. Replace each trash can liner with a clean, new trash bag upon completion.
• Dust and remove cobwebs from all corners, edges, and other accessible high and low areas to maintain a clean and well-presented appearance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in janitorial work or custodial services with a strong understanding of commercial or residential cleaning standards.
• Familiarity with chemical agent handling and safety protocols related to cleaning supplies.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe practices.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
