The ideal candidate will be responsible for engineering, administration, automation, and operational support of multiple OpenShift clusters.
This role will also partner closely with application teams to migrate and modernize applications onto containerized platforms.
This position requires strong technical expertise, hands-on experience with OpenShift ecosystems, and the ability to provide thought leadership while supporting multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer, operate, and support multiple OpenShift clusters
- Design and implement automation for platform provisioning and operations
- Support application teams with migration and refactoring to containerized workloads
- Manage and support OpenShift Platform Plus and related services
- Implement and maintain cluster security, governance, and compliance standards
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize containerized applications and platform performance
- Collaborate with DevOps and CI/CD teams to streamline deployments
- Document procedures, best practices, and technical solutions
- Share knowledge and provide guidance/training to team members
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift Administration
- Experience with OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF)
- Experience with OpenShift Platform Plus
- Expertise in Advanced Cluster Management (ACM)
- Expertise in Advanced Cluster Security (ACS)
- Ceph Administration experience
- Extensive knowledge of:
- Linux Containers (Docker)
- Kubernetes
- Microservices and containerized application architectures
- Working knowledge of:
- Java
- JBoss
- Nginx
- Node.js
- Enterprise application architectures
- Proven experience migrating and refactoring applications to containers
- Experience with automated deployment and infrastructure tools
- Strong understanding of DevOps concepts, tools, and practices
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab preferred)
- Solid understanding of networking concepts:
- Protocols
- Firewalls
- Load balancers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and documentation)
