Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming tasks.
- Help with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a personal care assistant or similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of geriatric care principles.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of emergency medicine is a plus but not required.
