Growing Non-Profit Organization is looking for individuals to JOIN our mission driven-THRIFT TEAM and HPC FAMILY. All dollars raised for our Organization fund our local Apartment-Housing Services for the Homeless. See Hillcrestplatte.org for more information. We offer programs that give homeless young adults and families a hand-up. Our Thrift Shop workplace is a feel-good, purposeful, fast paced environment of like minded people helping people!
We are adding to our team of Receiving Associates that help us manage donations that get sold in our thrift operations. Helping us requires your ability to bend, lift, stand, push, move and help volunteers manage distribution of all misc. types of donations we receive throughout each week. You will be on your feet for your entire shift and will need to be able to lift up to 60 pounds (most items are 5-20lbs). There will be occasional 2-person heavy lifting required for loading and unloading couches, desks, tables, dressers, etc..., and with the use of dolly's or other safety measures.
OPPORTUNITY TO EARN MORE IF YOU HAVE A CLASS "E" DRIVERS LICENSE.
NO late evenings, NO Sundays. Snacks and Drinks provided. Pre-employment background check required.
