What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Supervisor position at HPC Foodservice?
SUMMARY
This is an Operations position responsible for supervising the activities associated with night warehouse operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to supervising order selection, order loading, product stocking and replenishment, night operations equipment and software inventory maintenance, ensuring the safety and security of night warehouse operations and providing direction to night warehouse staff. This position requires working non-traditional hours (Sundays, overnight, weekends and holidays as necessary) in order to successfully meet customers’ and the business needs.

The Night/Shipping Supervisor Night/Shipping Warehouse Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily workload, staffing, and safety across all warehouse functions.
- Monitor and improve productivity, efficiency, and cost control.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of company equipment and assets. Audit shipping, loading, and documentation for accuracy and food safety compliance (HAACP, catch-weight, etc.).
- Maintain warehouse, truck, and premises security.
- Enforce company policies, safety rules, and performance standards.
- Support sanitation and facility maintenance to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
- Promote positive associate relations through regular meetings, communication, and engagement.
- Partner with the Safety department to train staff, investigate incidents, and improve safety practices.
- Participate in hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Cross-train staff and provide operational backup as needed.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, USDA, AIB, and other regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in AS400, VoCollect, RF systems, and WIN (labor standards) software.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION
- Associates degree, or three-five years related food distribution experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
