Ferguson is currently seeking a Union Warehouse Associate to join our team!
The pay rate for this role is$21.50 hourly.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00pm to 9:30pm or until completion.
Responsibilities:
Safelyoperatea stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
Accurately andtimelyreceive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
Clean the workspace as you go andparticipatewith the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.
Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent education.
0-3years ofwarehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management isrequired.
High attention to detail.
Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
Self-starter withabilityto learn our systems quickly.
Experience using material handling equipmentispreferred.
Ability to work in all weatherconditions.
Abilityto work atheightsof up to 30 feet.
Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularlyup to 90lbsoccasionally.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Continued focus on improving systemefficienciesand business practices.
