Production Warehouse Associate– Full Time

We are currently looking for a Production Warehouse Associate who is looking for a long-term position, wants to grow with the company, is self-motivated with good interpersonal skills, and who has passion for learning new things to join our growing Operations department. Following instructions and a sense of urgency are key qualities for success in this role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Production: Accurately weigh raw material for production, blending, filling, labeling, and packing products.
- Perform cleanup of production area as needed
Dump trash as needed
Follow cleaning schedule for production area
- Clean and sanitize production room, warehouse area and equipment based on cleaning schedule.
- Must be able to perform daily duties safely in a fast-paced, team environment
- Perform preventative maintenance for building/equipment.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP practices
- All manufacturing activities will be performed according to SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Assists in warehouse activities as needed.
- Unload incoming shipments using appropriate warehouse equipment.
- Record, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer and sample orders with accuracy and attention to product integrity.
- Apply shipping labels and complete required paperwork for order processing.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas using hand trucks, utility carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other devices.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and equipment-handling guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Participating in inventory counts
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support warehouse and operations activities.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma and/or 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred but not required .
- Must have basic computer skills; familiar with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Outlook and the ability to read and reply to emails to vendors, carriers and customers for logistics related.
- Willingness to be onsite at the manufacturing facility on a full-time basis
- Must be able to perform physical tasks for the duration of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting/moving items weighing 60 pounds or more.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Microsoft Office Programs, Outlook preferred
- Forklift license certified preferred
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Prior experience operating a forklift, using scales, pallet jack equipment is a plus.
- Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (Ability to use a calculator.)
- Ability to work overtime if truck arrives after work hours (rarely).
- Experience in using FED EX , DHL or UPS system for shipping is a plus, not required.
- Valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions, including tasks requiring adequate vision, hearing, speech, and physical ability, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to have full body rotation/mobility, i.e., bending, stooping, twisting, squatting
- Able to lift and/or move up to 60-pound drums, cartons in order to unload and process orders or production.
- Must have full hand usage to operate hand tools.
