As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a highly organized and experienced Landscape Production Managerto lead field operations and oversee all landscape maintenance and enhancement crews.

This leadership position is responsible for ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards while meeting production targets and maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.

The Landscape Production Manager works closely with our Account/Sales Manager and Ownership to ensure operational excellence and successful execution of service contracts and landscape projects.

Position Overview

The Landscape Production Manager oversees the daily operations of multiple landscape crews, ensuring that production goals, estimated labor hours, and quality standards are consistently met across all properties.

This individual must be a strong field leader, operational planner, and problem solver capable of managing multiple crews while maintaining a high level of organization and accountability.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Production Leadership

  • Manage all landscape maintenance and enhancement crews
  • Oversee daily field operations across multiple properties
  • Ensure crews meet estimated production hours and job budgets
  • Monitor production efficiency and adjust scheduling as needed
  • Implement best practices to improve productivity and operational efficiency

Crew Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and support crew leaders and field employees
  • Conduct morning production meetings and communicate daily priorities
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of field staff
  • Maintain a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professionalism

Quality Control & Property Oversight

  • Conduct routine property inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Ensure all properties meet the company’s premium service standards
  • Identify and correct service issues proactively
  • Maintain strong communication with the Account/Sales Manager regarding client needs

Scheduling & Project Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate weekly and daily production schedules
  • Allocate labor, equipment, and materials efficiently
  • Coordinate enhancement work and seasonal services with the office team

Financial & Production Performance

  • Track labor hours against job estimates and production goals
  • Ensure projects remain within budgeted labor hours
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability

Equipment, Materials & Logistics

  • Oversee proper use and care of company equipment
  • Ensure crews have necessary tools and materials for daily production
  • Assist with equipment planning and operational logistics

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain safe and organized job sites
  • Ensure crews follow proper equipment operation standards

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in landscape operations or production management
  • Proven experience managing multiple landscape crews
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and plant care
  • Experience managing production schedules and labor efficiency
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
  • Valid driver’s license required

Preferred:

  • Experience working with high-end residential estates
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience with landscape management software (LMN or similar)
