Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Family Medicine 30 hours a week
Location: North Dighton, Massachusetts
Practice Overview: Established, physician-led Family Medicine practice in North Dighton, MA seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative team. We provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan in a supportive, well-organized outpatient setting.
Position Summary: The Nurse Practitioner will deliver primary care services to patients of all ages, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visits. You will work alongside experienced clinicians with strong administrative and clinical support, allowing you to focus on high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients Perform history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning Manage chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia) Conduct preventive care visits and health screenings Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications in accordance with MA regulations Collaborate with physicians, NPs, and clinical staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation in athenahealth (Athena EMR)
Qualifications: Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts Board certification (FNP preferred) Experience in primary care or family medicine preferred, but not required. Willing to train the right candidate. Ability to care for patients across all age groups Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
