Get to Know the Role
We are looking for an Account Manager to manage day-to-day customer accounts, execute sales and marketing strategies, support technical marketing initiatives for new products, and serve as the primary liaison between customers and factory teams.
This role is instrumental in achieving the company’s profit and growth objectives.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage direct customer relationships (2 key customers) and serve as the primary point of contact
- Act as liaison between U.S. customers and engineering/production teams in Japan and Singapore
- Plan and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and technology targets
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly
- Prepare regular reports, including daily and weekly status updates, and monthly sales reviews (PowerPoint)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the factory to prepare quotations and negotiate customer proposals and contracts
- Conduct sales visits and attend industry conferences
- Educate and support customers on products and technical details
Skills and Competencies Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- 7 years of experience in project management, technical sales, or a sales management role
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical abilities
- Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to accommodate evening meetings with Asia-based teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Travel Requirement:
- Domestic travel (e.g., TX, ID, CT) 2–6 times per quarter
- International travel to Singapore and/or Japan as needed for trainings
