Senior Accounting Manager

A growing multi-unit holding company in the commercial and residential services industry is seeking a
Sr. Accounting Manager
to join their growing corporate finance team. This role will be nestled in a PE-Backed environment by heading accounting operations, process improvement initiatives, and strategic projects across a dynamic portfolio of businesses.

The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee corporate and operational accounting functions, manage month-end close, support ERP implementations, and drive process automation initiatives. This position plays a critical role in enhancing financial efficiency, maintaining compliance, and partnering with business leaders to support growth and performance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities and support group level consolidations.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage and improve inventory accounting processes.
• Support ERP implementation, system upgrades, and automation initiatives.
• Develop and streamline accounting policies and internal controls, including shortening the month-end close cycle.
• Support external audits, reporting, and consolidation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CPA in process strongly preferred.
• 10 years of progressive experience in corporate and operational accounting. 2 years of supervisory or management experience is required.
• 2 years of inventory accounting experience required.
• Experience leading ERP implementations and process automation projects,.
• Public/private accounting background preferred. Will consider strong, progressive corporate accounting careers
