Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are partnered with a well-established Commercial and Residential Construction firm seeking a Staff Accountant / Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their finance team. Reporting to the Controller, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to contribute to a well-established organization, expand technical skills, and build a foundation for a scalable business model!

Key Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Manage general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations.
• Handle intercompany activity and ensure proper reporting.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and properly recognize costs.
• Support audits and contribute to process improvements within accounting operations.
• Take on special projects and collaborate with the finance team to drive efficiencies.

What We’re Looking For

• 3 years of experience in GL accounting and supporting month-end close. Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
• Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks; RAMP
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Tenure and stability in organizations is highly valued!
