MUST be able to work ANY shift (days, nights, and / or weekends)
Shift times are based on department assignment. Shifts could vary between 8 hours, 10 hours, or 12 hours depending on the department.
Starting wage of $;(effective 3 / 1 / 2024) with a pay increase upon receiving level 1 qualifications (within 3 ½ - 6 months depending on candidate training).
Candidates will be subject to a 90-day probationary and training period.
The Production Trainee position is an hourly entry level manufacturing job and can be placed in any one of our major departments : Forge, Hot Operations Shop, or Machine Shop.
Candidates will perform a variety of tasks including the following : setting up the presses, assisting with die changes, manually moving product in and out of the furnace, checking temperatures, operating equipment for machining and inspections, operating hand tools, grinding parts, coating parts, and other related general manufacturing work.
Must be able to read, understand, and follow through with standard work instructions.
Job Requirements :
- Candidates must have the flexibility to rotate in different positions throughout the plant
- Candidates MUST be able to work any shift
- Subject to preemployment contingencies : drug test, physical, and background check
