Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Production Area Lead, the Plastic Trimmer position is accountable for:
- This position is responsible for removing flash from injected plastic pieces with the use of hand tools
- Using provided hand tools to remove flash from injected plastic pieces.
- Responsible for quality of the pieces you trim.
- Using provided hand tool to remove flash from injected plastic pieces.
- Meeting department production needs.
- Responsible for showing the supervisor first piece.
- Notify Leader or Manufacturing Mgr. of any plastic parts with defects and/or quality issues
- Visually inspect parts for various defects.
- Record production for labor reporting
Choice of Shifts: All shifts areMonday – Friday
- 5 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

- Patterns Business Center (Wax Patterns, Molds, and Plastic Airfoils)
- Tooling Business Center (Wax, Plastic and Ceramic Injection Core Tooling, Fixtures, and Gauges)
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution (Required)
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Minimum of 1-year experience operating plastic injection machine
- General Manufacturing Experience
- Ability to effectively work AND communicate as part of a cell team
