Your Core Responsibilities
- Preventive care for motors, conveyors, pneumatics, and production equipment using diagrams, manuals, and specs.
- Troubleshoot 480Vac power and 120Vac controls; measure voltage, current, resistance, and capacitance.
- Dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment using cranes/hoists and hand/power tools; inspect parts for wear and finish.
- Align and adjust components with precision tools (levels, straightedges, plumb bobs); read basic blueprints for installs.
- Install conduit and field wiring; connect power and controls between machines and equipment.
- Diagnose and replace faulty electrical components (transformers, motors, lighting, relays, switches, sensors, PCBs); rewire motors and replace bearings.
- Layout and install building wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus.
- Repair, replace, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components; assemble/maintain pipe systems; service gauges, valves, and regulators.
- Weld and torch-cut metal; rig equipment for installation or relocation.
- Fabricate parts using machine shop equipment; manage inventories; order and verify parts and supplies.
- Prepare clear maintenance reports; analyze trends; ensure orderly shift-to-shift communication.
- Maintain a clean, compliant work area; contribute to team results.
- Operate an industrial forklift; work at heights up to 50 ft; bring required personal hand tools.
- Continue learning via workshops, technical publications, and professional networks.
What You Bring

- High school diploma/GED.
- Certification completed in mechanical, electrical, or multi-craft apprenticeship.
- 5–7 years of industrial electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
- Proficiency with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, water systems, PLC interfaces, welding, or analytical troubleshooting.
- Ability to support all shifts; overtime and weekend availability as business needs change.
- Mobile equipment training/certification.
- Communication: read technical/safety documentation, write reports/correspondence, and speak effectively to groups.
- Math and reasoning: apply percentages, proportions, geometry, algebra, and shop math; solve practical problems with limited standardization; interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule instructions.
Schedules, Pay, and Training
- Openings on 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 3:00 pm–11:00 pm) and 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 11:00 pm–7:00 am).
- Training on 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 am–3:00 pm).
- Starting rate: $41.70/hour plus $1.00/hour off-shift premium.
