Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Full-Time or Part-Time Family Dental Practice is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our modern private practice. Requirements
- Valid State Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- Active X-Ray / Radiology certification
- Current CPR certification
- Local Anesthesia certification (preferred / a plus)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and documentation review processes.
- Ability to perform vital signs measurement, medical imaging procedures, and patient assessment confidently.
- Knowledge of infection control standards, HIPAA compliance, and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.
- Assist with chairside procedures such as taking dental radiographs, applying sealants, and providing fluoride treatments.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Follow strict infection control protocols including aseptic technique and sterilization of instruments to safeguard patient and staff health.
- Support general dentistry and pediatric dentistry procedures by providing compassionate care tailored to pediatric patients and their unique needs.
