Responsibilities
- Assist lead plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial plumbing systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Prepare work sites by gathering tools, materials, and equipment such as hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding gear
- Support the assembly and installation of pipes, fixtures, valves, and other plumbing components on construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly handling tools and disposing of waste materials
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Support the team with remodeling, maintenance tasks, or handyman duties as needed on various projects
- Previous experience in construction or construction plumbing is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and basic welding techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout
- Experience working on construction sites with exposure to remodeling or maintenance projects
- Valid field service experience or handyman background is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with good communication skills
