Position Summary
The Technician I – Formax Machine supports the operation and setup of Formax forming equipment used in the manufacturing of ammunition components. This entry-level technical role assists with machine setup, monitoring production processes, and maintaining quality standards while ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with the setup, operation, and adjustment of Formax forming machines used in production.
Monitor machine performance and production output to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
Conduct quality checks on manufactured components to verify compliance with specifications.
Support preventative maintenance, cleaning, and tooling changes as directed.
Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist other production or technical staff as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience is helpful but not required.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and moderate noise levels.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to approximately 40 pounds.
