Role Overview
The Insurance Project Manager will oversee all new business and existing business processes for life insurance, long-term care insurance, and disability insurance. This role is highly client-facing and detail-oriented, ensuring smooth handling of underwriting, claims, beneficiary changes, policy updates, premium adjustments, billing, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of new and in-force business for life, LTC, and disability policies.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, carriers, and our internal team.
- Process policy updates, beneficiary changes, claims, billing, and premium adjustments.
- Track applications and underwriting progress, proactively updating clients and advisors.
- Ensure accurate and timely handling of client requests.
- Maintain compliance with industry and company standards.
- Support advisors and planners with insurance-related projects and reporting.
Qualifications
- Required: Active Life & Health Insurance License (Texas preferred).
- 2 years of industry experience in life, LTC, or disability insurance.
- Strong understanding of underwriting, claims, and policy servicing processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
