Howell Electric LLC is a small Electrical company who has been servicing the Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana regions for almost 20 years. A big part of our success is due to our talented employees, and their high quality work. At this time we are expanding our team, and in search for a General Laborer.
Summary:
This individual will be the right-hand man to the Owner & provide overall organizational support. We are looking for a jack of all trades, with a positive attitude, attention to detail, ability to adapt and overcome, and team player.
Duties
- Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, and moving materials.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites.
- General property maintenance in a variety of settings.
- General vehicle maintenance.
- Physical labor in Electrical Field, or on Construction Sites.
- Understand and utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various construction areas.
- Follow instructions from Supervisors to complete tasks accurately.
- Run errands.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work conditions.
- Ability to work independently.
- Current Divers License.
- Excellent attendance is necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
