Duties
- Install, repair, and replace locks on doors, windows, safes, and other security devices.
- Respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct assessments of security needs for residential and commercial clients.
- Provide recommendations for security upgrades or enhancements based on client requirements.
- Use specialized tools and equipment, including an ohmmeter, to diagnose lock issues and perform repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory of locks and tools used.
- Educate clients on proper lock maintenance and security practices.
- Stay updated on the latest locksmithing techniques and technologies.
