Career Coach - Project SEARCH
Career Coaches support clients who are eligible for developmental services and transitioning into employment in their final year of high school.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized skills and job training with interns in their internships
- Develop, maintain and evaluate internships within the host business
- Establish strong communication within the team and with department managers
- Provide information and insight during team meetings such as Employment Planning meetings, developmental services meetings and family meetings
- Job development and networking with businesses to assist interns with securing employment
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years' experience in human services or combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills has been acquired
- Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle
Structure:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Starting pay rate is $21.58 per hour
- Non-exempt position; Union Position
