What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning Designer position at howardcc?
The Learning Designer reports to the Director, Center for Learning Excellence (CLE) and works closely with CLE and Workforce, Career & Community Education (WCCE) teams. The position provides synchronous and asynchronous training and professional development. Consultations with subject matter experts, faculty, and staff allow the successful candidate to partner with stakeholders to design curriculum, develop multimodal courses, and create learning materials to support the mission of the WCCE. This position will support current online applications used by faculty and staff to include instructional design components. The position will require some schedule flexibility to include time in the evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be dynamic and flexible, able to multitask and adjust to varying needs, be proficient in customer service, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. This is not a remote position.
