Job Title: Wire Rope Tech
Reports To: Store Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Duties may include:
- Working all phases of our wire rope rigging shop, including shipping, receiving, inventory identification, terminology, inventory stock locations, wire rope sling tying which will ultimately include operation of the hydraulic press, loading and unloading of wire rope from master spools for installation on our field spooling trucks, warehouse, shop, and facility upkeep. Some pickup and delivery work in Company provided vehicle.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Punctuality and desire to work, and learn a must. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Forklift certification a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Ability and desire to learn, follow instructions, personal and team safety during training.
- Will abide by all safety rules and policies set forth by our Company, and those of our Customers.
- Maintain a clean DMV record.
- Be able to pass random drug tests.
Education:
High school diploma or GED a plus. Legible handwriting, and verbal communication skills are a necessity for the safety benefit our the entire team.
