JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and
Board of Education will work independently to provide administrative
support to ensure smooth operations in accordance with policies and
procedures. They will demonstrate exemplary communication skills that
will reflect positively on HSSD. Serving as a liaison, the individual
will offer timely assistance and be resourceful for both internal and
external stakeholders while handling confidential matters with
discretion. This is a 12 month position with an ideal start date of
March 16, 2026. Competitive salary commensurate with experience and full

Coordination: Perform administrative duties for Superintendent and Board
of Education with careful attention to procedures, policies, legal
requirements, meeting preparation, and budget stewardship. Relatedly,
the Executive Assistant will anticipate needs, model accuracy in
details, exhibit independence, employ creativity, and demonstrate
proficiency in meeting timelines, deadlines and performance objectives.
Trusted Advisor and Confidant to Superintendent: Serve in a highly
confidential manner while providing timely and trusted counsel to aid
decision-making in daily operations, strategic governance, personnel
matters and general organizational performance. Communication, Customer
Service and Liaison: Provide and model enthusiastic, attentive, and
timely assistance in response to individual needs with a style that
reflects positively on HSSD. Facilitate connections, communications and
coordination with different staff members, community contacts,
organizations, agencies, and the general public to help accomplish
common goals with HSSD. Model excellence and empathy in listening,
speaking, writing and presenting with accuracy, compassion and
professionalism. Project Management: Oversee special projects and
initiatives on behalf of the Superintendent. Conduct research, gather
data, provide analysis to support decision making. May include special
events or travel planning Essential Functions of the job include but are
not limited to: Perform administrative duties for the Superintendent and
Board of Education, with careful attention to procedures, policies,
legal requirements, meeting preparation, election legalities, and budget
stewardship. Review and communicate confidential material relating to
the district\'s operations. Prepare and communicate non-confidential
written material, such as general correspondence. Order supplies for the
Superintendent and School Board. Attend all Board meetings, Annual
Meetings, and public hearings to record minutes. Assist in the
reparation of reports to the School Board regarding the affairs of the
school district. Assist with the development of community-wide
communications, such as newsletters and bulletins. Maintain records of
requests for nonresident and tuition-free students. Project management
Expulsion hearings Open records request Distribute meeting agendas to
the Board and news media when requested. Inform district employees
regarding actions taken by the Board. Assist in the preparation of
evaluations on employees under the direct supervision of the
Superintendent, including letters of reprimand and other disciplinary
