The technician provides technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoots system issues, and implements solutions in alignment with organizational standards and compliance requirements.

System Installation & Configuration
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and hardware components.
- Set up workstations, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
- Network client hardware, software deployment, support and maintenance.
- Cellular/mobile device deployment, support and maintenance.
- Set up and support construction field office IT infrastructure.
- Assist with Microsoft Intune endpoint enrollment, configuration profiles and app deployments.
- Support Entra ID and Active Directory user account licensing, group management, and basic configuration profiles.
- Provide support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets promptly and document resolutions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to integrate new technologies.
- Support and maintain LAN, wireless networks, and VPN access.
- Provide training and one-on-one coaching on technology and software platforms.
- Support IT procurement activities including vendor coordination, hardware and software purchasing, and order management.
- Manage IT inventory and provide recommendations for upgrades and replacements.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Implement cybersecurity measures, including antivirus and access controls.
- Ensure hardware and software configurations comply with organizational IT standards.
- Support backup and disaster recovery procedures and testing.
- Monitor health of IT infrastructure and assist with routine maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve system errors, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Provide recommendations to increase system efficiency and minimize downtime
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of system configurations, licenses, and inventory.
- Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Create training and user guides for non-technical staff.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in a technical support related field or a combination of education and practical experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , Security , or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Windows & iOS operating systems, networking fundamentals, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Basic familiarity with Active Directory and/or Entra ID management of user accounts, group, and configuration policies.
- Exposure to Microsoft Intune or a similar MDM platform is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to safely ascend/descend and work from ladders to access hardware.
- Occasional after-hours or weekend work for system upgrades or emergency support.
- Occasional travel to remote offices and project field offices.
