What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Registered Nurse position at Howard Memorial Hospital?
Howard Memorial Hospital has an immediate opening for an experienced full time Surgical RN in the Surgery Department. Previous experience is preferred (but not required) in the areas of Pre and Post OP as well as in the positions of Scrub and Circulating.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates professionalism and ability to work with cultural diversity
- Participates in patient/family/staff education.
- Collaborates with other staff and ancillary departments as a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provides safe practice in all aspects of patient care activities.
- Utilizes knowledge, skill, and judgment in providing direct and indirect patient care.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in State of Arkansas or Compact Licenses
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
- BLS/ACLS required; PALS preferred but not required.
