Howard Memorial Hospital is in need of a registered nurse for our Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates professionalism and ability to work with cultural diversity
- Participates in patient/family/staff education.
- Collaborates with other staff and ancillary departments as a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provides safe practice in all aspects of patient care activities.
- Utilizes knowledge, skill, and judgment in providing direct and indirect patient care.
Qualifications
- RN licensed in State of Arkansas or Compact Licenses
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
- BLS/ACLS required; PALS/TNCC preferred.
- PALS within one-year entry into position. TNCC within 3 years of entry into position
- NIH Stroke Scale annual certification required
- Current Arkansas or Compact State RN licensure
- At least 2 years nursing experience in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care Unit
