We are seeking an experienced Florida Foreclosure Paralegal to join our foreclosure and litigation practice group. This role is responsible for handling foreclosure files from referral through final judgment and sale, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, deadlines, and compliance with lender and investor guidelines. This is a hands-on, high-volume position suited to a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume portfolio of Florida residential and commercial foreclosure files throughout all stages of foreclosure, from referral and title review through final judgment, foreclosure sale, and certificate issuance.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, orders, affidavits, and notices in compliance with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and applicable court requirements.
- Coordinate with supervising attorneys on case strategy, hearing preparation, and contested file management.
- Communicate directly with clients, servicers, and investors to provide case status updates and respond to inquiries within established SLA requirements.
- Monitor and manage case deadlines, court dates, and milestones using CaseAware and/or LPS Desktop (Black Knight) case management systems.
- Prepare and submit client reporting in compliance with investor and servicer guidelines (e.g., Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA/VA/USDA, private label).
- Ensure compliance with applicable timelines under CFPB loss mitigation rules and client-specific requirements.
- Assist with writ of possession proceedings and REO-related follow-up tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of Florida residential foreclosure paralegal experience at a creditors' rights or foreclosure law firm.
- Working knowledge of the Florida foreclosure process from referral through final judgment, sale, and certificate issuance.
- Familiarity with TEMPO/ LPS Desktop (Black Knight) case management platforms.
- Strong understanding of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and local court practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload with competing deadlines in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- dExperience with contested foreclosure litigation, loss mitigation holds, and bankruptcy interactions
