Duties

• Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to ensure optimal cleaning results.
• Handle textiles carefully, performing tasks like sorting, folding, pressing, and packaging laundry items according to established standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all laundry areas, including the use of appropriate laundry detergents and sanitation procedures.
• Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport heavy loads safely across the facility while adhering to safety standards in production.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during manual handling, heavy lifting, and operation of machinery to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Assist with special laundry services such as dry cleaning or textile cleaning for delicate or specialty items.
• Support team members by maintaining organized workstations, managing supplies efficiently, and ensuring timely completion of laundry tasks.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper safety protocol adherence.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents, sorting items, and managing operational logs.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures in production environments.
• Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with garment care machine operation such as industrial dryers and textile cleaning equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
