The Quality Assurance Clerk is responsible for administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation in the quality department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and greet others warmly
- Reroute calls to appropriate people
- Take and deliver messages
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Perform data entry
- File records away in alphabetical or numerical order.
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Confidentiality
- Keeping office area neat and tidy
- Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, type writer, voice mail systems and personal computers
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in related field of office work preferred
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
